The Forest Within a Single Tree.

The Forest Within a Single Tree.

107 × 61.5 and 36x58 The work starts from the idea of the tree as a witness to life. Once cut, it does not disappear, but shifts its existence into memory. The crown, transformed into an eye, suggests a consciousness that continues to observe, while the trunk becomes a body of accumulation—a space that has retained presences, movements, and time. Birds and bears appear as ghostly forms, signs of life that passed through the tree without belonging to it. They are memories, not realistic representations. The canvases stretched on branches function as fragments of narrative, fragile surfaces on which memory temporarily rests.
